Gravity Grotesk started as a lettering experiment: what if a typeface's personality was tied to its weight the way movement is tied to gravity? The Black weight is planted — tight apertures, low contrast, feet on the ground. As the weights descend to Thin, letterforms open up, terminals lift, and the whole system gets progressively more weightless.
